As part of the BC Road–Addahole four-lane highway project, vehicular traffic on one side of the newly constructed 2.1 km long Kalladka flyover will begin from June 2.
In the initial phase, only vehicles coming from Mani towards BC Road will be allowed to use the flyover. Authorities have stated that two-way traffic on the flyover will be opened in the coming days after assessing the initial phase.
Member of Parliament Capt. Brijesh Chowta has already issued an official statement confirming that traffic will commence on June 2. Following his directive, both the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the contractor KNR Constructions have begun necessary preparations.
According to NHAI sources, once the flyover is operational for traffic, the remaining concrete work on the service roads will be taken up and completed in the following stages.
