Thirthahalli: Man dies in late-night road mishap

Thirthahalli: A tragic road accident occurred late at night near Shivarajapura, close to Thirthahalli, on Wednesday, April 9, resulting in the death of a 30-year-old man at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Shashwath, a resident of Tenka Bailu and a cashier at the DCC Bank.

The accident took place when Shashwath, who was driving from Mangaluru in a car, is suspected to have dozed off and crashed into a Tata goods vehicle. The impact was severe, leading to the complete destruction of the car’s front portion. Shashwath died on the spot due to the collision.

A case has been registered at the Thirthahalli police station, and further investigation is underway.
