Southern Railway announces special trains for Vishu and Good Friday rush

With a rise in passenger traffic expected during the Vishu and Good Friday holidays, the Southern Railway has announced the operation of special weekly trains to ease the load.

Train No. 06051 Mangaluru Jn – Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Special will depart from Mangaluru Junction at 6 PM on Thursdays, April 10 and 17, and reach Thiruvananthapuram North at 6:35 AM the following day.

In return direction Train No. 06052 Thiruvananthapuram North – Mangaluru Jn Weekly Special will depart from Thiruvananthapuram North at 6:40 PM on Fridays, April 11 and 18, arriving at Mangaluru Junction at 7 AM the next morning. Both services will operate twice each.
