Kanakapura: In a notable political development, Member of Parliament Dr. C.N. Manjunath and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar shared the stage for the first time since the Lok Sabha elections.
Dr. Manjunath had defeated D.K. Suresh, brother of D.K. Shivakumar, in the recent Lok Sabha polls. Since then, the two leaders had not appeared together at any public event.
However, on Sunday, during the birth anniversary celebrations of S. Kariyappa, both leaders were seen sitting beside each other, engaging in conversation and sharing smiles — a sight that caught the attention of many attendees.
