In a significant development for WWE 's women's division, Chelsea Green has reportedly inked a new multi-year contract with WWE, cementing her place again in the company.

Previously, WWE came up with a big blow after it released several backstage staff and wrestlers from its main roster. At least 15 wrestlers were let go after WWE fired many backstage employees and many wrestlers.

However, fans of Chelsea Green seemed worried as Green's recent social media activity, including a cryptic "goodbye" message, led to speculation about her WWE status. According to Fightful Select, Green's previous deal was set to expire later this year, but she has opted to extend her tenure with WWE.

Chelsea Green’s new contract was agreed after she re-signed a new deal with WWE. As many stars were let go from the company, among the stars who are not destined to leave WWE anytime soon, there is certainly Chelsea Green.

Earlier, Green was fired by the company in 2021 due to the pandemic, but had made her return at the end of 2022 and had signed a contract that will expire this year.

According to reports from Fightful Select, the former tag team champion has already signed a new agreement with WWE and would be very happy to continue her experience in WWE despite the speculations of a few months ago.

Earlier, Green was released by WWE back in April 2021, but returned to the company at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Since her return to WWE at the 2023 Royal Rumble, Green has made a notable impact. She captured the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship alongside Sonya Deville in mid-2023. Following Deville's injury, Piper Niven began teaming with Green, and the pair lost the titles to Katana Chance and Kayden Carter in December that year.

Chelsea Green did not stop here. Her momentum continued when she won the WWE Women's United States Championship by defeating Michin in the tournament final at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, 2024. This win lasted 132 days, during which she established " The Green Regime," a villainous stable with Piper Niven and Alba Fyre.

The timing of Green's contract renewal is particularly noteworthy, coinciding with a series of roster changes in WWE, including the release of several female talents such as Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler, and Cora Jade just few days ago.

However, Green's decision to re-sign suggests a continued investment in her character and storylines within the company.
