It's not easy to live a normal college life when you are the President's son. But, Barron Trump seems to have found a way around it.
It's true that he can't be on the college campus without Secret Service agents following him. Anything that he does is constantly being scrutinized. However, the youngest Trump scion, is living up to his college days and technology is helping him do that.
A new pagesix.com report says that Barron is talking with his friends on a gaming platform, Xbox. “He has added it to his repertoire. It’s his communication platform of choice," a source told the outlet. The platform allows not only text but voice messages too.
An earlier report said how Barron had been asking his friends to talk online via Discord, a chat app for gamers.
Apparently, Trump's youngest son cannot share his phone number with his pals as this “creates more trouble than it’s worth.
"If people get the number, they would give it out and then a million people would be calling non stop. You’d have to change the number constantly and it’d become a merry-go-round," the source told the outlet.
But of course, Barron is smart enough to only interact with his friends and not any strangers, so he gives his gaming info to only known people, a tip other teenagers should also follow.
"It’s gamer bro culture, they ask each other for their gamer tag," says the source. “He knows the people.”
Barron Trump is a first-year student at New York University's Stern School of Business. In a Vanity Fair report, his one of his classmates shared how he asked Barron to play basketball with him once and while he appeared to be interested, he had plainclothes Secret Service officers nearby. "He wasn’t really allowed to do stuff,” the classmate said.
Recently, viral social media posts have sparked a heated debate, claiming that Donald Trump is targeting several Ivy League schools after his son, Barron Trump, was allegedly rejected by them. According to these viral claims, the President is reportedly threatening to cut federal funding to prestigious universities like Harvard, Columbia, and Stanford in retaliation for their rejections of Barron.
While these posts have gained traction online, it's important to note that they appear to be based on conjecture.
