Gurgaon: A 32-year-old man suffered injuries following an altercation at a bar in Sector 42 last week.
An FIR was registered on Thursday. The incident took place on April 11 during an office party when a spat over work escalated into a physical assault.
The victim was allegedly attacked by three men and suffered a leg fracture. He said he couldn't get himself to file a police complaint earlier because the incident took a toll on his mental health.
According to the FIR registered at Sushant Lok police station, around 11pm, the victim had an argument with three colleagues, Lucky Jakhar, Anju Awana and Shreshth Magoo. "They began hurling abuses at me and shoving me. After a few minutes, bouncers escorted us out of the bar. Once out, they began thrashing me and then left the spot," the complainant said.
The victim's brother-in-law took him to a hospital, where doctors diagnosed a leg injury, including two fractures to his right leg. A case was registered under sections 117(2) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 3(5) (common intention), and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of BNS.
