What did users say?: Those sharing the video have posted it with a caption that said, "Sree Rama sethu - simply amazing fact - inside the sea, JAI SHRI RAM."

Is this claim true?: The viral clip was generated using (AI) tools by an Instagram handle named '@bharathfx1' for "entertainment purposes". It does not show real visuals.
How did we find that out?: Using the help of Google Lens, we conducted a reverse image search on the keyframes of the viral clip and found the same on an Instagram account named 'nagpur.updates'.
It was uploaded on 31 March. Its caption credited a different Instagram handle named '@bharathfx1' for the visuals.
Team WebQoof went through the aforementioned and found that the visuals were shared on 27 March.
Its caption mentioned, "The images/videos shown in this reel are purely AI generated, our intentions are not to hurt or harm anyone. This is just for entertainment purpose."
This clearly indicated that the video was AI-generated and did not show real visuals.
On scanning through the handle, we found that it regularly shares AI-generated content.
What did detection tools show?: We passed the video through an AI detection tool named '', which showed over 99 percent probability of the video being an AI-generated one.

Conclusion: It is evident that the video has been generated using AI tools.
