
The wider region was pummelled by a series of overnight. Images circulating on the social media platform Telegram show a huge column of thick smoke rising from the Elma technopark in Zelenograd, a city in the Moscow area, some 37 miles from the capital. Some 150 people live in the technopark, according to independent Russian news outlet Astra.
Elma, its website reads, is home to the production "of electronic equipment, production of control and measuring devices, optical equipment, processing of various materials, scientific research, information technology, production of consumer goods." Reports of drone attacks also emerged in the town of Ramenskoye and Moscow city itself. Sergey Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, said: "As a result of repelling the attack of enemy drones in Zelenograd, according to preliminary information, there are no serious damages or casualties. Specialists from the relevant services are working at the site of the fall of the debris." , which rarely claims responsibility for attacks launched outside of its internationally recognised borders, hasn't yet spoken of the overnight incidents.
