Piers Morgan has never shied away from airing his opinions on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - and he's weighed in on how the pair were reportedly booed during a date night baseball game earlier this week. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the Toronto Blue Jays v Los Angeles Dodgers game on Tuesday and donned matching blue baseball caps for the sporting event. They had top seats worth thousands of pounds to enjoy the game.
However, it's been widely reported that the pair were booed by the crowd when the stadium's cameras put them on a big screen. According to X users, Harry looked awkward, while Meghan tried to hide her face amidst the jeering. Piers, who has been public about his feelings on Harry and Meghan, retweeted a post by the US tabloid TMZ this morning, which read: "Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were booed at Dodger Stadium during the World Series."
Piers sarcastically penned in a brutal two-word response to the TMZ post: "I'm shocked."
His post caused a lot of mixed reactions, with one person writing: "Disrespectful couple booed for many reasons." Another said: "Hollywood cheers, L.A. boos - the royal plot twists never stop."
A third chimed: "Booed wearing Dodgers hats at Dodgers stadium. Ouch." A fourth said: "No boos on the MLBTV Fox live broadcast, and with a subscription, you can rewatch the entire game over and over."
Someone else added: "I have seen many videos and there were NO boos." A sixth remarked: "Man, to be a celebrity and get booed in LA is THE worst."
Analysing pictures of Harry and Meghan at the game, body language expert Judi James exclusively told Express.co.uk: "Even when Harry is smiling at Meghan and using eye contact as he talks, we can see his teeth are edge-to-edge in the grin, suggesting inner tension."
The expert also said their body language showed "mood fluctuations" throughout the public event.
