Team Europe will attempt to continue their dominance of the Laver Cup when the annual team competition takes place in the United States. The three-day event between the Europeans and Team World will be held at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Since the inaugural Laver Cup - named after Australian tennis icon Rod Laver - in Prague in 2017, the competition has been held in Chicago, Geneva, Boston, London, Vancouver and Berlin, with Europe winning five of the seven events, including in 2024. This year, they will be captained by Yannick Noah, who will be assisted by British tennis legend Tim Henman as vice-captain. Team World will be led by former Wimbledon champion Andre Agassi, with Pat Rafter acting as his No.2. Here's everything you need to know about the event, which begins on Friday...
How to watch the Laver CupThe event will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and the accompanying Discovery+ app.
A contract-free Discovery+ subscription, which gives access to all TNT Sports channels, costs £30.99 per month. Friday's action will be shown on TNT Sports 4, with coverage starting at 8.30pm.
On Saturday, this time on TNT Sports 3, it starts at 8pm. Coverage switches back to TNT Sports 4 on Sunday at 8pm. Due to the time difference - San Franciso is seven hours behind the UK - the action will conclude in the early hours of the following morning.

The three highest-ranked players from each region receive automatic invitations - although not all have been accepted - while there are also three captain's picks per side.
There will be three singles matches on both Friday and Saturday, with each day ending with a doubles match. Sunday will start with a doubles match and will be followed by up to three singles matches, depending on whether a team has reached the required points tally to claim victory.
Each match win is worth one point on Friday, two points on Saturday and three points on Sunday. The first team to reach 13 points is crowned the winner.

Team Europe will be led by new world No.1 Carlos Alcaraz, although he will not be joined by great rival Jannik Sinner, who has again opted not to play. Novak Djokovic will also be absent from the tournament.
World No.3 Alexander Zverev will be involved, though. The top-ranked Team World player is American Taylor Fritz, the world No.5, but Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul pulled out just weeks before the tournament.
Team Europe: Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Holger Rune, Casper Ruud, Jakub Mensik, Flavio Cobolli
Team World: Taylor Fritz, Alex de Minaur, Francisco Cerundolo, Joao Fonseca, Alex Michelsen, Reilly Opelka
