This weekend, will debut a thrilling new six-part series featuring an all-star cast, including Andrew Buchan from Broadchurch.
Code of Silence follows the story of Alison Brooks, a determined and intelligent deaf woman played by Rose Ayling-Ellis, whose life takes a dramatic turn.
Alison's exceptional lip-reading skills make her a valuable asset to DI James Marsh (Andrew Buchan) and DS Ashleigh Francis (Charlotte Ritchie), who recruit her for a covert operation.
The show's synopsis reveals: "Alison must surveil a dangerous gang planning a high-stakes heist, thrusting her into a world of crime and deception. As she deciphers the gang's secret conversations, Alison becomes a vital asset to the case. But when she forms a dangerous bond with gang recruit Liam Barlow (Kieron Moore), the risks grow greater and her true identity is put at stake."
As the series premieres, let's take a look at Andrew Buchan's life beyond the ITV show.
Andrew started dating actress Amy Nuttall in 2007 and married her in 2012. Amy is known for her roles in Downton Abbey, Emmerdale, and Mr Bates v The Post Office.
The couple has two children, a daughter and a son, whom they keep out of the public eye, reports Wales Online.
However, Andrew's marriage made headlines in 2023 when it was reported that he had left his wife just before Christmas. It is thought that he developed feelings for actress Leila Farzad after meeting her on the set of a BBC thriller.
A source revealed to the Mirror at the time: "For Andrew to walk away from his family was a huge shock to us all and Amy is heartbroken."
Since then, the couple seems to have put their issues behind them and are back together. In an interview with The Times in February last year, Amy confirmed they were still married and residing in Buckinghamshire with their children.
Andrew went on to try his hand at screenwriting for ITV's dark thriller Passenger, which was released last year.
Before the six-part series aired, Andrew told the Express that he thoroughly enjoyed the creative process.
He said: "The whole process has been a complete joy, whether you're an actor, a writer, a director, or a producer.
"You're really just in the business of wanting to create, and this branches the same tree, really, so being there at the starting blocks of the processes has just been wonderful, and seeing every facet of every idea brought to life has far exceeded my expectations.
"A credit to everyone involved because a lot of hard work has gone into this, so seeing behind the curtain has been a complete thrill."

Andrew initially appeared on screen in 2006 with a role in the TV movie If I Had You, but he gained widespread recognition in 2013.
Andrew Buchan made waves as Mark Latimer in the gripping ITV series Broadchurch, sharing the screen with stars like David Tennant, Olivia Colman and Jodie Whittaker.
He portrayed the grieving father of 11-year-old Danny Latimer, whose tragic death sparked the central mystery in the show's seaside setting.
As viewers became engrossed with uncovering the culprit, Andrew revealed that fans would accost him on the streets, eager to find out whether his character was the murderer.
In a past interview with The Standard, he reflected on the role: "The thing that drew me to it initially was definitely the character."
"I've never played a part like this before. There's no shying away from any element of emotion along the journey, and that did make me quite afraid. But sometimes it's good to walk towards your fears."
Code of Silence premieres on May 18 on ITV1 and ITVX from 9pm.
