
Many families would jump at the idea of a in their back garden, especially if it were contained in a secure building for safety. Yet no one would expect the experience that one family had when opening their curtains one day and looking out to find something quite unexpected.
Last week, homeowners called police after finding a naked stranger in their hot tub, who was trespassing on their property. Achilles Reinhardt, 28, had gained access to the fenced back garden, broken into the building which housed the hot tub and stripped off completely to enter it. Reinhardt had travelled to the property in Saranac Lake, New York from his hometown of Phoenix, around a three-hour drive away across the state.
He was arrested at the scene after homeowners found him naked in their tub.
Not only was he arrested for this breach, but police also found he had stolen an e-bike from elsewhere in the village before breaking in for his nude hot tub session.
Now arrested, Reinhardt faces multiple charges which include burglary, criminal mischief, grand larceny, criminal trespass, and criminal possession of stolen property.
After appearing in front of a judge, he was sent to Franklin County Jail.
According to local station , Reinhardt had recently been released from a maximum security prison, the Clinton Correctional Facility, where he served a sentence for criminal contempt.

Saranac Lake is a village of under 5,000 people in the northeast of New York state, while Phoenix sits 180 miles southwest.
