Norris entered the weekend off the back of a solid win in Monaco, while Verstappen posted impressive times during FP2 and is expected to challenge at the top end of the field.
Seven-time world champion Hamilton turned a corner with a fifth-placed finish, just behind George Russell, despite wanting more from his Ferrari during practice sessions. He is yet to claim a podium finish with the Italian team but has his sights set on a top-three place in Spain.
