BBC newsreader Martine Croxall should be hailed a national heroine and applauded for her common sense - not rebuked by a state broadcaster that's lost the plot. But no, the Corporation's Executive Complaints Unit has upheld a handful of complaints against her because on air, she refused to say, "pregnant people", and instead said "pregnant women".
And she was right to. Because, like most right-minded people, Maxine knows that ALL people can't get pregnant - just the women. And so, she decided not to indulge those woke idiots in the BBC newsroom determined to push a biologically flawed ideology at the expense of truth and good sense.
The formal rebuke comes because apparently she rolled her eyes having seen the sentence "pregnant people" on her autocue. "Her expression showed a controversial view about trans people," said the ECU, which revealed it had been interpreted by the 20 people who complained (what's the betting they were trans activists) as showing "disgust, ridicule, contempt or exasperation".
Yep, that's exactly what that eye-roll signified - but it wasn't directed at trans people. It was directed at the woke journos in her own newsroom who wrote her script and who don't seem to get that only women can get pregnant - not men pretending to be women.
These will be journalists like the ones skewered in a bombshell "BBC bias" dossier this week about institutional Beeb bias, the same journos who refuse to handle gender critical stories but don't mind faking news about the US president and are happy splicing video clips together to make it look like he was inciting riots on Capitol Hill when he was doing the polar opposite.
They'll be the same kind of journalists who don't mind running unchecked and inaccurate stories from Hamas terrorists about the number of people killed in Gaza by Israelis, and who are perfectly happy to stoke up antisemitism here by rushing to air with stories (again unchecked) about Israeli attacks.
The dossier also revealed they were dead keen on using commentators on their BBC Arabic station who say stuff like Jews should be burned "as Hitler did". And others who describe Israelis as less than human and as "devils". And let's not forget the Corporation's recent documentary narrated by the son of a Hamas minister.
And they're perfectly happy doing all that. But by God, if a newsreader refuses to trot out the ridiculous and biologically inaccurate phrase "pregnant people" there's hell to pay.
Talk about abject lunacy? Our state broadcaster now cares more about pushing and promoting the trans ideology which has no basis in reality than it does about truthfully reporting the news. It would rather fake the actual truth to push the political beliefs of the pathologically biased people who work for them.
They don't want their presenter to appear to be expressing a personal view on trans issues, yet their entire news output is infested with the biased and personal views of its journalists and its bosses.
Of course, the wimp Director General Tim Davie and chairman Samir Shah have been in hiding since the fake news scandal broke - maybe because mangling the truth is now standard journalistic practice at the BBC.
But enough now. Why the hell are we being forced to pay a tax to watch the Beeb's biased garbage? Nothing's changed since Jimmy Savile, and it never will. No one trusts the BBC anymore which is why its charter needs to be taken away.
