Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend Lisa Hogan has shared some exciting news that will delight fans of Clarkson's Farm.
Lisa is a familiar face on the popular Prime Video series as she assists the ex-Top Gear presenter in managing his Oxfordshire farm.
Now, she has revealed that she is penning her debut novel, titled My Animals and Other Eejits, which is slated for release on October 9.
The upcoming Penguin Random House venture will guide readers through a year at the nation's most adored farm, from lambing season to harvest time, with detours into attempts to shake up the mushroom market and frequent disruptions caused by red tape and tractor mishaps.
In addition to this, Lisa will delve into personal tales from her childhood spent in Dublin's Sandymount, as well as sharing anecdotes from her past careers as an actor, model, and sculptor.
"Plus the goats, cows and piglets that have captured the hearts of people across the world," the official synopsis concludes, reports .
Following the announcement, Lisa expressed her enthusiasm in a statement, saying: "Barely a day goes by at Diddly Squat without a brilliant or bizarre adventure. I'm so excited to share this book of revelations, tips and trip-ups."
She added: "It tells the story of a year of crops, breeding, overalls and offspring on the farm, where bale twine is as valuable as a Wall Street commodity. It's been a joy to write and I'm thrilled to be working with the good people at Penguin Random House to bring it into the world."
Louisa McDonald, director at Money Talent Management, added: "Money Talent Management are delighted to be working with the team at Century to bring Lisa's rural life to readers.
"Viewers have been able to follow her journey on the farm over the last few years but now she is able to sow the seeds of her creativity on paper and give us all a sneak peek of her life on her patchwork paradise of soil and sunshine."
This announcement coincides with Amazon revealing the launch date for the fourth season of Clarkson's Farm.
The new episodes will showcase Jeremy taking on the farm's challenges solo as Lisa focuses on developing a new product range, while Kaleb Cooper sets off on a national tour.
Fans can mark their calendars for the return of season four on May 23, which will be released in three parts, with subsequent episodes dropping on May 30 and June 6.
"Thwarted in his attempts to open a Farm to Fork restaurant, Jeremy plans to reignite that vision and get back in the council's good books by drawing crowds away from the farm shop. All he needs to do is buy a pub," teases the official synopsis.
"However, the road to becoming a pub landlord isn't straightforward either. Jeremy faces obstacles including derelict buildings, red tape and a picnic site with a colourful past."
