All UK households are being told they can get 25 hours of free electricity in November. Sky Money reported that the free hours will be available throughout November to households who download the free Uswitch app and sign up to the scheme.
People have just 48 hours to sign up - and will be notified each week in November to pick a five-hour free electricity time slot for the upcoming weekend.
And it doesn't matter which energy company you use - so British Gas, OVO, Octopus, E.on and EDF customers along with anyone else can apply.
Uswitch said: "Sign up before 31 October to take advantage of another great way to save on energy costs just as the energy price cap increases.
"Power up all of your hoovering, laundry and other household chores done - on us!" To qualify, you need to connect your smart meter to the app and sign up before 31 October.
Once you have signed up, You will be able to choose from Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon.
After each five-hour time slot is up, Uswitch will calculate how much electricity you've used and add the money earned into an "Earn" tab within the app.
At the end of the final free-electricity period, the earnings can then be withdrawn into your bank account.
Uswitch added: "As long as you have your electricity smart meter connected to the Uswitch app by 31 October, the 25 hours of free electricity is available to you no matter who your energy provider is.
"If you're part of a demand flexibility scheme (DFS) with your energy provider, you'll still be able to participate in this offer as well. For 25 years, we've been helping customers save on their electricity bills. Now, we're helping customers to get ahead of higher energy costs this winter with 25 hours of free electricity across 5 weekends this November.
"This exclusive offer is part of our Power Hours scheme, where you can earn with your smart meter year-round. To get this offer, all you have to do is connect your smart meter and sign up to Power Hours with the Uswitch app by 31 October."
Uswitch says you should schedule your washing and other energy-intensive tasks to coincide with the free sessions to help users get the most out of the offer. By doing so, you will also ease the strain on the national grid.
