What happened between Trisha Goddard and Tiffany Pollard after tense clash

appeared on 's Late & Live on Thursday and clashed with iconic housemate . Among the usual chatter, things took a wild nosedive as guest Tiffany laid into the star and accused her of being nasty behind the scenes of the panel show.

As they sat in the studio with a live audience, Trisha, 67, admitted: "Honestly by the time I got here - I've been used to studios like this for 35 years - so I felt at home."

In a very unexpected response, American reality TV star Tiffany, 43, accused: "Oh, so that's why you were so rude to me upstairs during the briefing when you told me that I was small? Because you felt at home to be rude to the HBIC [head b***h in charge]."

"We'll talk about that later, Tiffany, because-" Trisha began, before Tiffany mockingly interrupted: "You're playing such a good game, the game of 'So long, Trisha.'"

Host seemed mortified - and very confused - by the passionate argument kicked off by Tiffany, and after trying to stop the back and forth multiple times stated: "I can't work out exactly what's going on. We can talk about that later."

Trisha seemed to attempt an explanation of why she called Tiffany "small," but was happy to move on. "I was giving her a compliment, but we can come back to that," she said.

The drama with Tiffany comes after Trisha suffered a blow during her final hours inside the house, courtesy of her close friend .

It turned out that to go up for eviction, and an unaware Trisha later confronted him after feeling like he'd been distancing himself from her since the votes were announced - but suspected that he was just staying away from her because he was worried his popularity might tank if he kept spending time with someone who might soon be packing their bags.

Chesney admitted to some guilt at his betrayal while in the Diary Room, sharing: "You know what, I feel a bit sad right now because of my little chat with Trisha that I just had."

The successful musician added: "I think she's an incredible woman and I question my nomination and get a little bit nervous that if Trish does end up leaving, then she's going to see that I nominated her."

When Chesney nominated Trisha to be sent out of the Big Brother house, he said his reasoning was that Trisha often hijacks her co-stars' conversations to make them about her. She was accused of trying to turn CBB into 'the Trisha Show'.
