Thomas Tuchel praised Jude Bellingham’s determination to play for England - even though he should have gone under the knife months ago.
Tuchel said Bellingham was a shining example by reporting up for the England camp and warned others it would be “very unwise” not to report up with the World Cup a year away.
superstar Bellingham has been wearing huge strapping on a shoulder problem and is expected to undergo surgery after the Club World Cup.
Tuchel was critical of the delay in Bellingham getting surgery but made it very clear how much he liked his desire to join up even amid a hectic end to the campaign.
England boss Tuchel, who named a 26 man squad for the double header with Andorra and Senegal, said: “Jude always wants to come. They all want to come.

“I want to be very clear about this, not one single player has told me ‘Ah, I can I just come for the first match, because I have the Club World Cup?’ or ‘Can I be left out completely because I’ve played so much?’ Not one.
“Everyone I asked was: ‘No, no, no, I come. I want to come. It's an honour to come.’ We will start the camp with 26 and finish the camp with 26.
“We had discussions about naming a squad without Club World Cup players but the World Cup is one year away so why send players away, we need to cherish them together.
“He has played for many months – way too long, maybe – with this issue. He plays with this huge shoulder strap under his shirt.
“I understand that he will go to the Club World Cup, and then at some point have surgery. From a purely medical point, it [surgery] should be yesterday. They keep delaying, because of the importance of Jude.”
Tuchel did not include but stressed that was his call and the midfielder had been “misunderstood” in saying he needed a break and did not want to report up.
But Tuchel admitted that Foden had suffered a dip in form owing to an ankle injury and also said that he was still troubled by the chanting during last month’s Manchester derby about his family.
Tuchel said: “On a personal level what happened in the Manchester derby with the fans, and then also on a physical level that he's still suffering from ankle problems, cannot get rid of it. So putting all in the mix, we thought it's better.”
England will play Andorra in but will have a week-long training camp in the sun near Girona before a friendly with Senegal at .
They plan to use the heat, conditions and atmosphere as a dress rehearsal for next year’s World Cup in the United States.
There has also been a clear shift in defence with a new generation ushered in - including ’s Trevor Chalobah - and the 26 man squad does not include or any player.

Tuchel added: “We will test the players, how they react to heat and all that stuff. In a very professional level, we will increase our knowledge of how to cool players down, when to take a cooling break, how to individually cool players down, what helps each players.
“So there is a level of support going on at its highest level at the federation which I am very happy about as it allows me to focus on football.
“I have a very clear picture of Harry Maguire and what he represents and what he can bring to a squad. I am not so clear how Trevoh will be in this enviroment and performance wise at the moment he is a ltitle bit ahead. He is involved in fighting for football.”
