This Morning viewers 'tune in more' as they're 'loving' new host partnership

There's nothing like a little daytime telly - and is one show that's been familiar with Brits for years.

This week the show has seen a bit of a shake up though, as hosts and are taking some time out for their Easter break. As they enjoy some time off, and have stepped in to take over the hosting duties, and it looks like viewers couldn't be more thrilled.

After Welby posted some snaps from the set on Wednesday, fans of the show were quick to comment and sing their praises. This is a partnership that viewers seem keen to see a lot more of.

Dozens of people have commented on the post, with one writing: "I am enjoying your partnership with Dermot and have tuned in more this week. Please can this become a regular thing, you are a great presenter. Also love the dress."

Another added: "Love you on ! You are a natural and should be doing it more often! Great job."

If you're a regular viewer, you may recognise Welby, 38, from bringing fans of the show all the latest showbiz gossip. The presenter also fronts Capital Breakfast with and Chris Stark.

She's had quite a varied career though, as she actually's had various jobs over the years. In the past, Welby has worked with Channel 5, , ITV and .

Formerly, Welby also hosted her own national radio show on Heart every Monday to Thursday from 7pm to 10pm. She was only 19-years-old when she first started presenting.

Before that, she was working part-time as a shop assistant in New Look. Then a starring role in an advert for New! magazine led to a big career change.

She was spotted by former Channel 5 owner, Richard Desmond, back in October 2010, and was later revealed as a new presenter in November 2010.

Since then, her career has only gone from strength to strength. Since joining the This Morning family, she seems to have settled in pretty well.

It was in January 2024 that Welby did her first stint as a co-presenter on This Morning. Since then, she has stepped in to co-host the show a few times, but this week she certainly seems to have impressed a lot of viewers.
