An insider close to the family has claimed that they are struggling to deal with the break up and that it is taking its toll on the children. They told: "It's terribly sad. Despite her starry background, Rory is very down to earth. They are finding their split hard, particularly for their children."
At their wedding - which took place in Mawnan Smith, Cornwall - Rory's half-sisters Lola and the model Tigerlily Taylor acted as bridesmaids.
Despite Rory's apparent down to earth outlook, Queen guitarist Brian May did turn up at the nuptials in true Rockstar fashion, arriving in a helicopter.
The rocker's aircraft landed in the middle of a pitch, drawing play on the green area to a halt as he disembarked his lavish ride. Despite her musical connections, Rory opted for a folk band to play the music that entertained guests on her big day.
Roger shares Rory, 39, and her older brother Felix, 45, with his first wife, French bereavement counsellor Dominique Beyrand. He is also dad to three more children with model Debbie Leng, who starred in Queen's Breakthru video.

The couple are parents to son Rufus, who works as a drummer for The Darkness and a touring musician for Queen + Adam Lambert, as well as daughters Tigerlily and Lola.
While her half-brother chose to follow in his father's footsteps with a career in music, Rory has previously admitted that she avoided working in showbusiness like her dad.
She said: "I knew that I wanted to help people, so I studied medicine and qualified as a GP in 2011. There's a lot of pressure in a job like this, and very long hours, but I love it, and Dad has always been so supportive." During the Covid-19 pandemic Roger, 75, admitted he was concerned about Rory because of her line of work.
She is employed as a GP in West London and worried her father as she continued to see and treat patients during the strict measures that were in place to safeguard people from the disease.
