Love Island star Mal Nicol rushed to call the police after spotting a 'swaying' man skulking in a children's park trying to 'grab' at kids. The TV personality, 27, was with a group of friends walking around Little Venice in London when they were approached by a few young boys warning them about a 'creepy man'.
"We go down and we clearly see that this guy is not okay. He's standing by the park, swaying and putting his hands into the park over the fence. He's trying to high-five this little boy, who is around five," she explained on TikTok. "We kind of wanted to distract him and see what he was doing or saying.
"We kind of walk over and he lunges to pet [her dog] and we're like, 'Woah, go away'. While this is happening, a mum with her daughter, a little three of four-year-old girl, who is on a scooter, this guy tries to grab her from behind. The dad jumps in between them both."

She then revealed that the little boys who warned her of the 'creepy man' asked her to call the police but she was initially hesitant as she didn't know what was going on.
Mal and her friends kept an eye on the situation from afar, with it being recorded on video. "He then goes into the park where there's a lot of young mums with their like three-year-old girls who are obviously feeling vulnerable and scared," she said. Mal said she 'couldn't watch this' and rushed to call 999 to report the situation.
The TV star went on to praise the police for their speedy arrivals, with their sirens being heard two minutes after she made the phone call.

When the police arrived in the park, Mal was screaming for them to "hurry, hurry" as she feared the man would get away.
"The police finally come round the corner, they've arrested him," she told fans.
She added: "We got interviewed by the female police officer who was amazing and really considerate about how we were feeling." Mal said three mothers approached her to thank her for phoning the police.
"This is happening in London and I just think you have to do something. We saw what was happening and these little boys asked us for help. You can't just watch. Call the police or something, I don't know. It was crazy."
Mal is best known for her appearance on Love Island as a bombshell in 2023, but was dumped after a week in the villa.
Upon leaving the show, she was approached by the Married At First Sight UK producers to apply for the show, but she didn't want to.
