The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has yet to officially announce the date for the release of the 2024 Class 10th results, but it is widely expected that the results will be declared in the second or third week of May 2024. Students who appeared for the examination can check their results on the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in) as well as on results.cbse.nic.in. Additionally, there are several alternative platforms where students can access their results, including the DigiLocker and Umang apps, both available on Android and iOS. Students can also receive their results via SMS.

When Were CBSE 10th Results Released in Previous Years?

Here’s a look at when the results were released in the past two years to get an idea of the possible release date for 2024:

CBSE 10th Results 2023

In 2023, the exams were conducted from February 14 to March 21. The results were released on May 12, 2023. That year, the overall passing percentage stood at 93.12%, with 21,658,05 students appearing for the exam. Of those, 20,167,79 students successfully passed.

CBSE 10th Results 2024

The CBSE 10th exams for 2024 were held from February 15 to March 13. The results were released on May 13, 2024, with an impressive 93.6% passing rate. Female students outperformed their male counterparts, with a passing percentage of 94.75% for girls and 92.71% for boys. The top performing cities included Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ajmer, and Pune, while Guwahati had the lowest passing percentage.
