Satna (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic incident came to light on in Satna where three tribal children drowned while taking bath in Amua Dam. The children slipped into deep water and died on spot.
The villagers informed the police and within half an hour the bodies of all the three kids were recovered and taken out.
Upon receiving the information of this tragic incident , Majhgawan Tehsildar Somesh Dwivedi and Dharkundi police station in-charge Shailendra Singh rushed to the spot with police force.
Officials assured financial compensation
Administrative officials inspected of the incident spot and assured the family of all possible help and financial aid.
All three children were from the same village
The children have been identified as Abhijeet son of Ajit Kol (6), Abhi son of Kallu Kol (5) and Krishna son of Nandu Kol (5). All three children were residents of nearby village Kandaila. After Panchnama action, the bodies were sent for postmortem.
Tehsildar Dwivedi provided immediate financial assistance of ₹25,000 each to the families of the deceased through the Red Cross Society.
Following the necessary Panchnama proceedings, the bodies were sent for post-mortem examination.
