CGPSC Vacancy 2025: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has announced a recruitment notification for the post of Superintendent (Child Care Institution) in the Women and Child Development Department. Applications are invited for a total of 55 positions. Interested candidates can apply online until November 8, 2025. Applications can only be submitted through the CGPSC's official website, psc.cg.gov.in.
These positions have reservations for different categories. Some positions are specifically reserved for local women and local candidates with disabilities in Chhattisgarh. The number of positions may increase or decrease depending on the need.
Who can apply?
A candidate must possess a bachelor's or master's degree in social work (MSW), sociology, psychology, or law. Eligible candidates with a degree in any of the above subjects can apply.
Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of January 1, 2025. Local candidates from Chhattisgarh will receive a 5-year age relaxation, meaning they can apply up to 40 years of age. Additionally, SC/ST/OBC candidates and widowed, divorced, or abandoned women will receive an additional 5-year age relaxation. The maximum age of the candidate, including all exemptions, must not exceed 45 years.
Application Fee
Candidates will have the opportunity to correct any errors in the application form without any fee. This facility will be available from November 9 to 11, 2025. After that, a fee of ₹500 will be charged for corrections from November 12 to 14, 2025. Please note that corrections can be made only once.
Regarding the application fee, SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates from Chhattisgarh and local candidates with disabilities will have to pay ₹300. For all other candidates and those from outside the state, the fee will be ₹400. Additionally, portal fees and GST will be charged separately.
