Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the answer key of Civil Service Exam (CSE) Preliminary Exam 2024 today, on 21st May. The candidates who have appeared in the UPSC CSE 2024 prelims exam of the year 2024 can check it by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. Let us tell you that the answer key has been released for General Studies Paper-1 and General Studies Paper-2.
Let us inform that 3 questions each have been removed from Series A, B, C and D General Studies Paper-1. At the same time, no question has been removed from General Studies Paper-2.
The result came on 22 April.
It is worth noting that the preliminary exam of CSE 2024 was conducted on 16 June, while the UPSC CSE Mains exam was held on 20,21,22,28 and 29 September. Candidates who passed the mains exam were called for interview and personality test. UPSC CSE 2024 interview or personality test has started from 7 January which lasted till 17 April. 2845 candidates were shortlisted in the interview. The result of UPSC CSE 2024 was declared on 22 April 2025.
Shakti Dubey has topped
Shakti Dubey of Prayagraj has topped this result. UPSC had selected a total of 1009 candidates for appointment in Group A and Group B of IAS, IFS and IPS and Central Services, while the candidature of 241 recommended candidates has been kept provisional.
When will the UPSC 2025 exam be held?
UPSC CSE 2025 will conduct its preliminary exam on 25 May 2025. This year applications have been invited for 979 posts. Only candidates who score more than the cutoff number in the CSE prelims exam will be eligible to register for the UPSC main exam. The main exam will be descriptive and will be held for 5 days on August 22.
The commission has already released the hall tickets for the prelims exam. If there is any kind of error in the hall ticket of the candidate, then they should quickly inform UPSC through mail upsc@nic.in.
