Enzo Fernandez has returned to the Chelsea line-up for the Blues' Champions League clash against Ajax at Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old midfielder withdrew from the Argentina squad during the international break due to a knee injury and missed Chelsea's win away at Nottingham Forest at the weekend. Enzo Maresca said on Tuesday afternoon that Fernandez's injury is not serious and not one to worry about, and he has now been named in the XI this evening.
"Enzo took part in the session yesterday [Monday]," Maresca explained. "We have one more session this afternoon [Tuesday], we see if we decide with him tomorrow. But as I said before and again, it was not something that we have to be worried about, it's just to try and protect Enzo."

Maresca has named a total of 10 changes to the side that won in Nottingham, with Romeo Lavia the only player keeping his place. Robert Sanchez has been named on the bench, with Filip Jorgensen deputising for the Spaniard. Sanchez had started both of Chelsea's Champions League fixtures up until this point but Jorgensen has now been given a chance.
Moises Caicedo looks set to start at right-back, with Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana and Jorrel Hato the other defenders. Fernandez partners Lavia, while Estevao Willian makes his first Champions League start for the club.
Facundo Buonanotte starts his second successive match in Europe, with the 20-year-old Argentine set to occupy the No.10 role. Jamie Gittens comes in for Alejandro Garnacho, with the former making his first European start since moving to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
Marc Guiu leads the line in Joao Pedro's absence (suspended). Guiu made his second appearance of the season for the Blues at the weekend, coming on as a half-time substitute, and will be hoping to make another positive impression this evening.
There is a spot on the bench for 16-year-old Ryan Kavuma-McQueen. The teenager has shone for the academy so far this season and is handed a chance in the first-team squad for the first time. Fellow academy stars Reggie Walsh and Max Merrick have also made the squad.
Chelsea XI: Jorgensen; Caicedo, Fofana, Tosin, Hato; Lavia, Fernandez; Estevao, Buonanotte, Gittens; Guiu
Chelsea subs: Sanchez, Merrick, James, Acheampong, Chalobah, Cucurella, Walsh, Santos, Neto, Garnacho, Kavuma-McQueen, George
