The cast, including Tom Selleck, who plays Frank Reagan, expressed their disappointment at the show's unexpected cancellation, with Selleck admitting he was "frustrated" by the decision.
Months after the final episode aired in December 2024, viewers are still seeking answers to some of the show's unresolved storylines.
Unanswered questions from Blue Bloods season 14 Danny and Baez's relationshipThe finale hinted at a potential romance between Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez), but their relationship was left uncertain.
The question remains whether they will make a good couple or decide they're not compatible after a few dates.
Danny will be starring in the upcoming spin-off Boston Blue which may provide some answers as to their relationship status.
Henry's strugglesHenry Reagan (Len Cariou) found it challenging to adjust to retirement after a lifetime of serving on the force, especially since his family is deeply involved in law enforcement.
Henry, played out more as a support to the younger characters, offered a wise ear to Danny Reagan about his budding relationship with Maria Baez.
However, Henry's future remains a bit cloudy, as there wasn't much hint of what he might do to find a sense of purpose, rather leaving him to watch his family's adventures from the sidelines.
Sean's futureThe penultimate episode saw Sean Reagan (portrayed by Andrew Terraciano) announcing his surprise early graduation from New York University to his family but wasn't sure what to do next.
He sought guidance from his loved ones but with no firm plans disclosed, will he follow the family's policing legacy or carve out a different path?
Erin and JackErin (Bridget Moynahan) and her on-off partner Jack (Tony Terriciano) have seen their share of ups and downs, yet chose to quietly remarry in the season finale, keeping the Reagan clan out of the loop.
They're set to break the news later, though it's hard to tell what the Reagans' true feelings about Jack are.
Given Henry's sharp remark that forgiveness for Jack would come "when I die", the lack of reaction to the secret wedding left fans hanging.
Eddie and JamieErin's decision to keep her relationship with Jack under wraps was partly due to Eddie (Vanessa Ray) and Jamie (Will Estes) announcing they were expecting their first child.

Eddie now faces the challenge of balancing motherhood with the risks of her job, which have escalated following the death of Badillo (Ian Quinlan).
She also has to adjust to a new partner, leaving fans curious about how she'll manage all these changes and what effect it will have on her relationship with Jamie.
Blue Bloods is available to watch on CBS.
