New Delhi: Delhi discoms said on Wednesday that Delhi's power demand during the summer of 2025 may reach 9,000 MW for the first time.
Discom BSES stated that it is committed to ensuring reliable and quality power supply to over 50 lakh consumers and 2 crore residents across South, West, East, and Central Delhi. Smart power procurement strategies, including long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and banking arrangements with other states, along with a robust distribution network, are ensuring an uninterrupted power supply , it added.
It also mentioned that allegations circulating on social media about power supply issues are false and misleading. TNN
