Hyderabad: Design-led manufacturing player Cyient DLM will design, develop, and manufacture the cabin management system (CMS) for Deutsche Aircraft 's 40-seater regional turboprop, the D328eco . This expands its strategic partnership with the German regional aircraft manufacturer.
Cyient DLM stated that this will be one of Deutsche Aircraft's first electronics programmes to be designed and manufactured entirely in India, providing a boost to 'Make in India'.
"This upcoming project is also a significant achievement for the Indian aerospace ecosystem, demonstrating its capability to develop and certify advanced products. The CMS will be constructed with a scalable and modular architecture, utilising the latest technology in displays and control electronics. It will integrate multiple sensors and utilities to ensure ease of operation, safety, and improved user experience," it added.
Nico Neumann, Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, said the partnership for the D328eco will enable the company to provide a modern CMS, a first for this class of aircraft.
